Our founder, James, started OneSeven over five years ago after his experience hiring an offshore agency for his pre-seed Ed-Tech startup. The project was unsuccessful due to communication issues, conflicting time zones, and scope creep. Since then, he built OneSeven and tailored our services to support startup founders in need of high-quality software development.
About You:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications
- Identify, log, and track bugs and other issues
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Collaborate with product teams to define and prioritize test scenarios
- Document and maintain test processes and procedures
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
- Analyze test results and identify areas of improvement
- Maintain quality standards and make sure that all products meet customer expectations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies
- Experience with test automation platforms, systems, and tools preferred (Selenium, JMeter, Postman, etc).
- Experience with API testing
- Preferred knowledge and/or experience in compliance with standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, and ADA.
- Ability to write, read, and understand code (Python, Javascript, SQL, and others).
- Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of bug tracking and issue management tools
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
