The Role
We’re looking for a Java/Angular Full-Stack Developer to join a team maintaining and evolving a large, long-lived monolithic platform (15+ years). You’ll work across backend services and frontend features, build and consume REST APIs, and make changes carefully with a strong focus on stability, regression impact, and performance.
About you
You’re comfortable working in legacy enterprise systems where clean incremental changes matter. You can navigate a big codebase confidently, collaborate through Git/GitHub workflows, and you care about quality, reliability, and clear engineering practices. You’re also pragmatic: you can ship improvements without breaking what already works.
Requirements
- Strong Java backend development experience
- Angular frontend experience
- SQL Server proficiency, including: complex queries performance optimization understanding transactional constraints
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience working with monolithic codebases and making careful changes in large legacy systems
- Understanding of regression testing implications when modifying existing functionality
- Solid Git/GitHub workflow experience
Bonus Skills
- Snowflake experience (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with enterprise multi-tenant architectures
- Familiarity with bit-set data structures (optional)
- Observability/monitoring experience with Datadog and/or Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with Cypress for automation testing
- MarTech/SaaS background (audience segmentation, email marketing, subscription management)
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into existing apps (e.g., MCP layer, agentic UI patterns)
- Fluent English with 9am-5pm EST availability
- Flexible schedule - ability to work extra hours for sprint deadlines
