About the Role: You'll identify and fix software bugs to ensure a seamless user experience. Collaborate closely with backend developers for smooth integration and contribute to the development of new features based on project requirements. Adhere to coding standards and best practices while implementing visually appealing interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX designers. Your collaborative approach across teams should ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Onboarding: We will expect you to be available to answer calls and messages during our teams working hours 9am-5pm EST. Frontend Developer is required to be adding the Design components into Storybook etc. You will need to make sure to regularly provide and update documentation and unit tests for QA. You will need to follow OST development procedures, for example: pull requests, setting up 3 environments, branch naming, time tracking on ClickUp Tickets etc.

Qualifications:
- Our team’s working hours are 9am - 5pm EST so if needed we would expect you to join calls during that time.
- Intermediate English level (important)
- Proven programming experience working with a modern frontend framework like React or NextJS.
- Experience working in the backend with Javascript or Ruby. Preferably With NestJS or Ruby On Rails.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Frontend/Backend understanding is a must
- Ability to write, read, and understand code (Javascript and others)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problems.
- Ability to research as you work.
- Ability to be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment.
- You will need to provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service.
- Agile + Scrum Methodology knowledge.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- 3+ years of experience with frontend libraries like React or React Native for mobile
- GIT + Github Experience
- Experience with Google Firebase is a must.
- Experience with typescript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience working with Docker is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Compensation:
- Freelance Hourly-based employment
- Hourly compensation 10$ - 20$ depending on the level
